Amelia's First Vacation

Amelia took her first vacation to Glen Rose this weekend for our annual 4th of July trip.  All of her family members wanted to spoil her and hold her constantly!

One Month Old

Amelia turned 1 month old on June 27th and here is what she has been up to:

Amelia has her days and nights mixed up so I have been doing my best to entertain her during the day.  Today I pulled out all of the tricks.  I had her on her play mat, loud music blaring, toys present, chimes and rattles attached to her wrists and ankles, and here was the result:

The Bumbo seat didn't work either.

Finally, she decided to wake up and check out the grip!

Same Sized Friends

So everyone has been asking about how Peaches is reacting to Amelia.  Here are some pictures to serve as the answer.  I was about to feed Amelia so I put her on the bed to get prepared, but she fell asleep and guess who showed up?

Great gifts

Amelia has gotten so many great gifts from so many people.  Lots of people have gotten her adorble outfits that eventually everyone will see in pictures.  Amelia has also gotten some gifts that everyone won't be able to see unless you come visit so I thought I would share some of them online.

Aunt Rachel, Uncle Donny, and Reece sent her an adorable personalized frame.

Aunt Jenny, Uncle Tom and Cousin Emma sent a beautiful jewelry box with Amelia Helen engraved on it.

She also got a cute, wooden jewelry box from her grandmother Diane.

Uncle Daniel, Aunt Kimberly and Cousins Tara and Brandon gave Amelia an adorable, pink, engraved Bible.

Thanks to everyone for all of the wonderful gifts, clothes, gift cards, and well wishes.  Amelia is so lucky to have so many people who love her!

Overworked and Underpaid

Grandmother and Papa came to visit this week, and after they left, Amelia was simply exhausted!  Thanks for all of your support, love and help!

Aunt Kimberly, Uncle Daniel, Cousin Tara, and Cousin Brandon visited Amelia last weekend and we got some great pictures of the kids bonding!

The Collie family sent Amelia a birthday "cake" made of beautiful flowers so of course we wanted to get a picture of Amelia with the flowers. In the first picture, she decided to make her own birthday present which did not smell like flowers, and the second picture is her satisfaction afterwards!

Amelia has a little jaundice so the hospital sent over a light therapy table for her to enjoy. The table fits in her pack n’ play and she actually seems to enjoy it. We also saw the pediatrician today and he says she looks great and to keep doing what we are doing.
