The Biscuit

Amelia had her 6 month appointment today...she weighs 16 pounds, 11 ounces and is 26.25 inches long.  She is in the 60% percentile for height, weight, and head circumference.  Pretty darn perfect!

We affectionately call Amelia "The Biscuit" which is what comes out when our friends' 3 year old calls Amelia a "Big Kid".  The nickname has stuck!  This week, the Biscuit sat up and stayed up.

We are very lucky because Amelia has a great daycare with people who absolutely love her and take great care of her.  Amelia is in the bouncy chair in the foreground and is having her first Christmas themed story read to her.

Over Thanksgiving, Amelia finally got to meet some of her mom's best friends, Amy and Carrie.

 

Amelia had Croup a few weeks ago and each evening she fell asleep in my arms for about 2 hours. 

It's getting a little cold around here, but Amelia is ready for it!!!

Daddy/Daughter Football Team

Aunt Jenny and Uncle Tom got Amelia a Cleveland Browns outfit to honor Marty's favorite team, but it is still to big for her and Marty just couldn't wait.  So now Amelia has a Cleveland Browns onesie with her name and number.

Amelia comes from a long line of Rangers' fans: her Papa Bean, Papa Will, Grandfather Steve, and her Mama!  She has been watching the boys of summer literally her whole life!  These pictures are for all the Rangers' fans.

Grape Days

Amelia has now been to more wineries in her first 5 months than I had in my first 25 years!  We had a great time in the sun at Grape Days!

Our friends Jacque and Brad joined us, and Amelia decided to take advantage of Jacque's shoulder.

Marty's Dream Halloween

Amelia's daycare has a Halloween festival every year and the kids get to dress up.  I told Marty that he could pick whatever he wanted for Amelia's Halloween costume...won't make that mistake again.

A Princess at Hooters

Amelia went to Hooters today to watch football and we decided that she needed to stand out amongst all the testosterone in the room.

Rice Cereal

We first tried rice cereal on Monday, October 11 and here were the results:

She wasn't very into rice cereal...

We have tried rice cereal once a day every day since then....and...today she finished the bowl!

Amelia and Fat Boy

Amelia had to let go of her Fat Boy on October 2.  He was very sweet to her and we will miss him.
