Amelia's favorite activity is to roll around on the floor with Mom or Dad. Here are some pictures from tonight's playtime.

9 months old!
Amelia is now 9 months old! She is 28 inches long and weighs 19.3 pounds. She is still in the 60th percentile for length, weight, and head circumference. Here are some recent pictures of her holding her bottle and eating her first "real" food...a banana.

Doctor Visit
Amelia has had some stomach bugs over the last few weeks so I decided to get her checked out. It was a busy day at the doctor's office and we had a loooong wait. She took her frustration out on the paper in the exam room! She is much better now, but she has a pretty severe ear infection. Her 9 month appointment is on Monday so we will get new information then.

She's a sleeper
Here is what I found when I checked on Amelia last night after she had been asleep for an hour:

For Reece!
Amelia's cousin Reece got to spend some time with Peaches over Christmas at the farm. She sat next to him and followed him around the farm. Reece recently heard about a little chihuahua that was picked up and almost carried off by an owl and he was worried about Peaches. This picture is for Reece so that he knows that Peaches can hold her own!

Amelia's new best friend
We picked up some toys at the farm over Christmas from Amelia's cousin Brandon. There was a play table, a chair/reading area, and a penguin. The penguin is Amelia's new best friend. She talks to him, pets him, and "reads" to him.
Christmas Vacation
Amelia was sick over Christmas with conjunctivitis, a sore throat and an ear infection. Then she passed all of it to me and my mom! So...there are not very many good pictures from our vacation at the farm, but here is what I have.
Her first phone...from Dad
She also got a play station that turns into a walker from Mom.
She got to be a big kid in the high chair.
She finally felt better on one of the last days we were there so I got some great pictures of Amelia and Grandmother.
